Here's a clear breakdown of the basketball information, including practice schedules:

Pre-K / K Team:

• Practice: Saturdays beginning December 21, 2024

• Focus: Introduction to basketball skills, coordination, and teamwork.

• Activities: Fun drills, basic ball handling, shooting, and movement on the court.

1st/2nd/3rd Grade Team:

• Practice/Scrimmages: Saturdays beginning December 21, 2024

• Focus: Developing basic skills (dribbling, passing, shooting).

• Activities: Drills, light scrimmages to practice game situations, team play, and sportsmanship.

4th/5th/6th Grade Team:

• Practice: Tuesday/Thursday beginning December 10

• Focus: Skill refinement, basketball IQ, game strategies, and fitness.

• Activities: More advanced drills, team play, scrimmages, and building basketball knowledge.

• There will be games for this age group against other teams, beginning after the new year. Home games will be at PCS. 

• The last practice will be on February 12, 2025. 

General Notes:

• Registrations Open November 11. 2024. 

• Game Schedule (4/5/6 team): Will be posted in December.

• Equipment Needed: Comfortable athletic shoes,  and a water bottle.

• Parent/Volunteer Involvement: Some teams may need help with practice setups, snacks, or game-day support. We will need volunteers to run the clock and do the books. We are also looking for referees.
